Learn about plants and make art at the same time! In this project-based afterschool program we will make ceramic pots, detailed botanical drawings, seed bombs, and prints from natural dyes, while learning about soil mixtures, composting, medicinal plants, and caring for gardens. Field trips include community gardens, Farm.One, and the BBG.

Sarah (they/them) is a plant steward, herbalist, organizer, educator, and friend. They grew up in Brooklyn and are committed to building resilient, life-affirming structures of care, reciprocity, and community with all of the species and ecosystems here. They are passionate about learning through curiosity, art, and play.
